You’ve been dating for several months or maybe even a few years now and things are already starting to seem repetitive. Monday-Friday you work and possibly hit the pub or a nearby bar for drinks and decompression. Sunday you plan to rest before it all starts over again. Which leaves you with Saturday. You get four in a month, but how many of them are you using for Date Night? As you sit and ponder the question let’s focus on ways to ensure every Saturday is a Date Night, but that even Tuesday evening can be date night worthy.
Here are a few of our favourite must haves to improve your chances of being asked out every Saturday and the occasional Tuesday.
Tip #1 - Fragrance
No one can resist a signature scent on the person they’re romancing. If you’ve not discovered something that works for you try Celine’s new collection. Two favourites of mines, ‘Black Tie’ and ‘Dans Paris’. Added notes of Bergamot, Coriander, Vanilla and Musk mixes with the body’s natural aroma to transport you to a warm Cuban escape or summer evenings in Paris along the seine river.
Tip #2 - Skin Care
The most important aspect about a date, or any day/night for that matter is the skincare routine. Best advice would be to first seek out a dermatologist or can help with explaining your skin type. The current trends show Korean Skincare huge in Asia and Europe. “The K-Beauty market is just on the cusp of hitting the U.S. big time,” Sara Chung Park said in a Vogue Beauty article. Vogue was brilliant enough to supply a list of their fav products– again to each their own. But I would recommend keeping a ton of face masks on retainer. They’re great not only for those special occasions but also for long haul flights.
Tip #3 - Something Sexy
Next you’ll need the right massage oil. I recommend something edible so you won't have to wash it off later before you get to know one another better. It’s important to note that, yes sexy undergarments or clothing will heighten the mood, but a good massage with the right oils can bring a couple closer together.
Tip #4 - Style over Fashion
The weather is still chilly, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice looking good in order to keep warm. Gentleman perhaps check out David Beckhams new collaboration with Hugo Boss. Beckahm has selected rich wool and corduroy fabrics in neutral tones fit for the season. Ladies do not fret, Harrods SS25 new season trends offers layered looks, suede boots and neutral tones to compliment your partners.
Tip #5 - Location
Don’t be afraid to break out of the traditional dinner and a movie bit. Date Night can be as calm as you want it or as adventurous. If you’re here in London why not check out Ballie Ballerson or an igloo boat ride on the Thames River with Skuna Boats? If low key is what you’re after ditch the movie for a West End play or visit to the Tate Modern’s latest exhibit.

Lastly,
Let’s hope these tips motivated you to get up, get out and get something. A date with you is a text away. Make the effort whether you’re in a relationship or swiping left and right. What better a time than cuffing season?
